Make Oatmeal without a pan, without a microwave, and with all the delicious oatmeal flavor but tons of convenience. Recipe makes one adult serving.

  • ½ cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (Important, do not use quick oats or instant oats, they will not work)
  • 1 TBSP dried fruit (or substitute with other add-ins)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Optional sweetener to taste
  1. Put a teakettle of water on to boil while you prepare the jar (s).
  2. Into a pint sized mason jar add oats, add ins, and optional sweetener.
  3. When teakettle boils, add 1 cup boiling water to the jar, give a quick stir, and immediately cap.
  4. Set a timer for 20 minutes and go walk away and do whatever else you need to do for the morning.
  5. When timer sounds, come back and add in any other add-ins such as cream, butter, coconut oil, etc.
  6. Enjoy amazing oatmeal without having spent a ton of time on it!
*Make multiple servings by making up more jars of this recipe.
*Recipe dry ingredients can be mixed ahead in the jars and grabbed for quick and easy breakfasts.
*When you finish eating, give your jar a quick rinse, for NO MESS cleanup!
